Summer might actually be here! The forecast is showing sunny skies and warmer temps turning the Elk River into the beautiful emerald green that everyone loves!
The river is looking fantastic and the bugs are hatching. We have had excellent hatches of Gray and Green Drakes. Golden Stones are still around with little Yellow Sally’s appearing. Good PMD hatches are happening in the evenings and cloudy days.
If you are looking to catch a Bull Trout, the kids have been tying big streamer flies to throw into the Elk, Wigwam and Bull Rivers!
