The ELK AND TRIBS ARE CLOSED!
The Elk is still high and running dirty. We expect that it will take a few for weeks to start to shape up. In the mean time some of the Alberta rivers are starting to clear and fish quite well! With the water clearing and the stoneflys hatching it can make for exceptional DRY FLY fishing!
Also the lake fishing around our area has been HOT! Chironomid and leech patterns have been the go to out there. Patterns such as Tri wing, rabbit tail leech’s, Scuds, Liquid Lace Chironomids, Chromies and Olive ice cream cones have been productive.
