Finally, warm (but not too hot) weather has arrived in the Elk Valley. The Elk River is flowing at 116 m³/sec today. A significant improvement! Several gravel bars have become visible in the Elk although she remains turbid. However, the overall look is less like chocolate milk now, and more a silty green. We’ll take it. Boats are heading out daily and having a lot of fun nymphing and prospecting with streamers.
