We can’t believe how quickly July has gone by and how many happy anglers have already passed through our doors this summer. Ants, beetles, and hoppers are where it’s at on the Elk River. Water levels are low, but we do not currently have any temperature restrictions. We will advise all potentially affected clients if and when hoot owls are imposed!

We have had smoke come and go from town but thankfully it has passed quickly with some clear days in between. We are sorry to report that the Lladner Creek Fire in Sparwood is threatening homes and launches in the area. We are very thankful to the crews and fire fighters working to keep it at bay.
