Not too much more to report from yesterday, except that the water of the Elk is looking even better! I was happy to see a bit more clarity on my morning bike ride to work. Pictured is the view of the gravel bar from the “Canadian Tire Bridge” (AKA Leo T. Nimsick Bridge). Bent rods and drift boats can now be seen as you drive or walk by the river. A comforting sight to be sure…Flow rate of 102m³/sec at Fernie today.
