The Elk River is fishing extremely well with great BWO hatches and loads of October Caddis. The conditions are excellent for wade fishing with low clear waters.
Streamer fishing is excellent with Bulls and large Cutthroats being caught on most all sections of the river. Great streamer flies are the White, Olive and Black Muddy Buddy in size 4 and 6.
The dries that are hot right now are the October Caddis in sizes #6,8. Orange Crystal Stimulators sizes #6,8.
