July 15, 2015 River Report

The Elk river conditions are poor these days with the recent landslide on Tec Resources mine property this week. Hopefully we will have an answer soon to how long this disturbance will be

The river still has feeding fish on top, but you will have to fish them in near zero visibility.

Tributaries on the other hand are excellent and with the cooler weather lately they are all running clear and low.

Bull River is clearing after some recent rain storms and average flow rate for this time of the season.

Wigwam is low and crystal clear with excellent fishing for Bulls and Cutthroats. Good Mahogany Duns, Yellow Sally’s, Cadddis and Green Drakes. White streamers seem to be the best with Mice patterns also working.

Michel creek is extremely low and clear with very good hatches of green drakes.

Enjoy the excellent fishing and hope to see you in the shop soon.
